One of the great pleasures of doing custom pieces is that our clients often commission us to make gifts for friends or family members. This custom inlay maple and walnut, end-grain cutting board, was a joy to design with our client and to bring to life in the woodshop.

Custom wood inlay is one of the most difficult processes we do at Ministro Woodworking. Simultaneously, it is one of the most rewarding. The dark grey-brown of Walnut contrasted against the bright orange-brown of Cherry makes for one of the greatest colour combinations among domestic species in North America.
